I am a dental student and the fluoride in the toothpaste DOESN’ T whiten teeth. Fluoride strengthens enamel which is the top layer of your tooth. Let me explain without going into the molecular detail. The fluoride chemically replaces one of the molecules in enamel making it stronger. To much fluoride can cause patches of BROWN and WHITE on your teeth called fluoride mottling. Look it up and it is not pretty. Girl in the video, your teeth look white probably b/c you are brushing it more often.
